To promote medical research and the development of science pertaining to the treatment and cure of cancer and to educate and inform the general public regarding the causes and treatment of cancer, and cancer research by accepting, holding, investing, and administering gifts received for said purposes. In addition, on a limited basis, the organization provides direct medical related financial assistance to cancer patients who demonstrate the need for such assistance.
