Weekend Overnight Emergency Respite Program - Nassans Place respite provides families with children on the autism spectrum with emergency weekend and overnight respite in the home and or in the community. The weekend respite also includes the siblings. Respite care provides temporary relief for parents caregivers caring for a child on the autism spectrum. It gives parents a much-needed break from some of the overwhelming challenges that can come with a diagnosis of autism for their child. Respite helps to promote better quality of life for the entire family.

Holiday Celebration provides sensory friendly environment for families during the holiday season that includes food toy giveaways resources and bring holiday joy.

Trunk & Treat Celebration provides a day of sensory friendly social interactions and connections for families affected by autism.

Saturday inclusion Basketball Program teaches children on the autism spectrum and their siblings the art and techniques of basketball. The program is designed to help enhance sensory fine motor and social skills of the children on the autism spectrum while also including the siblings so that they connect with their peers.

Annual backpack & school giveaway and Annual BBQ This event provide families a day of fun resources backpack food and school supplies.

Movie Day sensory-friendly indoor and outdoor activities support items resources and other assistance provided for children on the autism spectrum.

Our organization hosts inclusive dance events namely the Spring Dance and Winter Dance specifically designed to cater to individuals on the autism spectrum.
