Mission
Nate chute foundation supports, educates, and empowers our communities to promote mental awareness and reduce suicide.
Programs
2 programs
Community based services: provide evidence-based training and education focused on suicide prevention and mental wellness to targeted groups and the community at large. In 2024 we hosted 43 community suicide prevention training events, reaching over 942 people. We provided suicide prevention resource materials at 16 community events with a collective attendance of over 3400 attendees.
School based services: provide developmentally appropriate suicide and mental health awareness education presentation to health classrooms grades 7-9. Support mental health programs and education in schools k-12. In 2024, we presented signs of suicide curriculum and yam (youth aware of mental health) to 2273 students in flathead valley middle schools and high schools. We piloted montana happiness project workshops at high school assemblies, and provided expertise and guidance to the valley student suicide prevention consortium.
