Member Services: Management of membership benefits including the publication of a trade journal, AfterSchool Today and bimonthly E-news. There are approximately 27,200 members.

NAA provides publications, resources, and services that reflect best-practice thinking of the afterschool profession; disseminates tools and resources that support the professional development needs of members in the field; hosts the only national convention in the field for afterschool professionals; and offers access to affordable training, technical assistance, and professional development for afterschool program staff. NAA has also implemented Professional Learning Communities which are virtual learning experiences for afterschool leaders to build knowledge, skills, and contacts with colleagues in the field.
