Advancing quality dual enrollment programs for high school students.
Programs

Conferences, workshops and professional development events. Nacep is the only national organization that disseminates best practices, innovations, and research findings in dual and concurrent enrollment at scale, reaching professionals who serve 60% of students nationwide. In 2024, more than 3,600 professionals participated in our conferences, workshops, webinars, and leadership academy, advancing quality, collaboration, and leadership across the field.
Outreach. Nacep is the nations leading source of subject-matter expertise on dual and concurrent enrollment, supporting states, institutions, and organizations through invited speaking, consultation, and resources that expand knowledge of quality practice. In 2024, staff and volunteer subject matter experts shared expertise at 5 national events, contributed to 7 webinars and forums, and engaged with major media outlets including inside higher education, the chronicle of higher education, the hechinger report, and the american association of community colleges journal.
Governmental relations. Nacep is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to dual and concurrent enrollment that provides research- and practice-based guidance to policymakers. In 2024, we engaged state and federal leaders through briefings, seminars, publications, and member-led activities, supplying evidence and analysis to support informed policy decisions that promote equitable access and program quality. Member services. Nacep is the only national organization that unites dual and concurrent enrollment professionals through membership, serving more than 600 institutions and over 4,100 educators. In 2024, our member services advanced program quality and professional leadership through accreditation, training, research, advocacy, networking, and recognition, with additional localized engagement provided through 19 affiliated chapters covering 35 states. Research. Nacep advances the national research agenda on dual and concurrent enrollment through grants, plain-language summaries, forums, and collaborative projects led by its research commission. In 2024, we produced 12 research spotlights, awarded 4,000 in grants, hosted 8 researcher forums, and contributed to shaping national priorities, ensuring the field has access to evidence-based practices that improve quality and outcomes.
