National Association Of Blacks In Criminal Justice Inc

In partnership with student chapters of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), the 400 years of African American History Commission (400YAAHC) launched the I Fear for My Life initiative. This program fosters a national dialogue between students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and police agencies. In addition to identifying service-minded individuals of color interested in law enforcement careers, the initiative seeks to facilitate meaningful conversations that build trust between police officers and communities of color.

NABCJ is committed to expanding the pool of criminal justice experts by offering cutting-edge training, leadership, education, and profes- sional development through its Annual Conference and Training In- situte. This yearly event provides a platform for networking, know- ledge-sharing, and advancing best practies in the field.

Each year, student accomplishments are honored at the annual conference. NABCJ allocates $5,000 annually to assist with housing accomodations.
