Education: the nacds foundation scholarship program supports community-based learning experiences or other curriculum innovations that advance pharmacy education as well as increase diversity in pharmacy education. 34 u.s. Based and acpe accredited pharmacy schools were provided awards in 2024.the foundation also offers educational programs and resources for pharmacists, pharmacy schools, and communities on public health issues.

Programs staffing: the supported organization - national association of chain drug stores, inc., provides staff to the taxpayer to administer the taxpayer's charitable giving, scholarship awards, research, and other programs. The taxpayer reimburses the supported organization for the cost of this staff time under the terms of a services agreement.

Charitable outreach: the nacds foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to strategic funding of charitable organizations with collaborative and public health focused missions that aim to advance healthcare access, outcomes, and equity. In 2024, the nacds foundation provided support to 8 charitable organizations.
