To advance the interests and objectives of the chain community pharmacy industry, by fostering its growth and promoting its role as a provider of healthcare services and consumer products.
Programs

Conferences and trade shows - 4,000+ registrants. Two conferences held annually. Topics addressed include general merchandising trends, pharmacy and professional issues, health and wellness, and operational concerns of regional chain drug store retailers. Exhibit hall format with some general business sessions included.
Federal and state government affairs programs - congressional relations program designed to communicate industry issues of concern to members of congress; legislative and regulatory liaison designed to keep members informed on important legislative and regulatory developments. Similar program at the state government level.
Pharmacy operations and patient care programs - various programs to demonstrate and communicate the value of pharmacy services in improving health outcomes and lowering overall healthcare costs. Includes working with other allied trade associations and state boards of pharmacy to address pharmacy practices and professional issues which affect chain drug store operations. Also provide online educational courses forpharmacists.other program services - various other services to members including regulatory guidance on industry issues, legal support on industry matters, membership directory, public relations and communications, and front-end retail support.
