Federal and state government affairs programs - congressional relations program designed to communicate industry issues of concern to members of congress; legislative and regulatory liaison designed to keep members informed on important legislative and regulatory developments. Similar program at the state government level.

Pharmacy operations and patient care programs - various programs to demonstrate and communicate the value of pharmacy services in improving health outcomes and lowering overall healthcare costs. Includes working with other allied trade associations and state boards of pharmacy to address pharmacy practices and professional issues which affect chain drug store operations.
