National Association Of Dental Plans

EDUCATION - NADP provides webinars and executes an annual conference to provide educational content on current issues and trends for members. As well, NADP presents to other organizations of brokers, consumers, dentists, and educators on issues relating to the dental benefits industry. NADP offers a Consortium for its Members each year to give its members practical, hands-on educational opportunities addressing critical industry needs.

RESEARCH - Much of the material that is presented to outside groups and that is used to respond to the press is derived from NADPs annual suite of statistical reports on the dental benefits industry and shared research that is funded by participants and conducted by NADP. NADP ALSO PERIODICALLY FIELDS SINGLE ISSUE SNAPSHOTS ON KEY INDUSTRY ISSUES.

COLLABORATION - NADPs role under collaboration is serving on various national and international groups that are involved in the setting of standards and transaction guidelines for the dental benefits industry in the areas of procedure codes (CDT), diagnosis codes (SNODENT), and EHR reporting (ICD), quality measures, and electronic data interchange for claims processing, electronic funds transfer and electronic health records.
