It is the mission of the national organization of miniature enthusiasts to promote miniatures through education and to build friendships and skills through sharing of experience and ideas.

The organization produces a bi-monthly publication, distributes audio-visual training aids, and coordinates services through regional chapters to 2,660 members.
The organization provides online workshops, free seminars, make a takes and many other educational opertunities to members and non-members through our create website as a means to educate participants in the construction, collection, and display of miniatures as historical and creative art forms. These online workshops served a combined 519 registrants in the 2024/2025 fiscal year.
Other programs to serve artists and collectors of miniatures by providing a forum for education and an environment to associate and exchange ideas and display skills.
