The national association of women in construction, nawic, is committed to championing women to impact the direction of the construction industry. Nawic provides education, community and advocacy for women. The association's core purpose is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. Nawic is a trade association with over 5,000 members who pay an annual fee. The association is based in fort worth, texas and has over 115 chapters throughout the united states that provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service and more. The association offers different levels of memberships for various individuals and companies in the construction industry. Each membership offers various benefits and costs as they relate to the construction industry.
