The National Ayurvedic Medical Association represents the Ayurvedic profession in the United States of America. Our mission is to preserve, protect, promote and advance the consciousness-based philosophy, knowledge, science and practice of Ayurveda for the benefit of all beings.

Membership - NAMA offers membership at different levels, including general, professional, organizational and educational. NAMA is the voice of the Ayurvedic community that empowers individuals, communities and humanity to achieve health and well being through Ayurveda. NAMA represents the Ayurvedic profession in the United States of America. Founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2000, the organizations's purpose is to provide leadership within the Ayurvedic community and to promote a positive vision for Ayurveda and its holistic approach to health and wellness. Its mission includes preserving, improving, and promoting the science and practice of Ayurveda for the benefit of humanity.
Certification - NAMA conducts national certifying exams for professional certification at various levels of education.
