Nccer also provides accreditation services and support to organizations seeking to implement nccer programs. Nccer provides education and training courses for program administrators online through live training and through nccer's lms. Nccer develops and provides additional instructional resources for instructors who deliver nccer training, which include lesson plans, powerpoint slide decks and equipment and materials lists. Once programs achieve accreditation, nccer audits the testing and training activities of its providers on a regular basis, in accordance with its published accreditation standards. Lastly, nccer provides customer service directly to all trainees, craft professionals and program administrators who contact us for support with nccer products or services.
Outreach and research nccer operates the build your future initiative, which aims to recruit students and adults into the construction industry as well as enhance the image of construction and promote careers in the industry. In support of this objective, nccer owns and operates the careerstarter website, which is a platform designed to connect job seekers with employers that have open construction positions in their local areas. With respect to research, nccer has an internal research department that develops and publishes research reports and white papers on issues related to construction workforce development.
