Mission
The national center for electronics recycling (ncer) is dedicated to the development and enhancement of a national infrastructure for the recycling of used electronics in the u.s. Through 1)the coordination of initiatives targeting the recycling of used electronics in the u.s., 2)participation in pilot projects to advance and encourage electronics recycling through increased education, and 3)the development of programs that reduce the burden of government through private management of electronics recycling systems.

To administer and manage the oregon state contractor program for electronics recycling. Maintain statewide network of collectors, transporters, and recyclers to recycle used electronics from oregon citizens.
To manage programs under the electronics recycling coordination clearinghouse, including registration website, compliance calendar website and development of new data and projects to compare and harmonize state electronics recycling programs
