Ojjdp-training grant - in 2024, the training/techinical assistance for child abuse professionals project, funded by a grant awarded by the office of juvenile justice and delinquency prevention (us department of justice) provided technical assistance to 572 professionals. In-person and live virtual trainings were provided to 3,505 people, and pre-recorded virtual trainings were completed by 16,747 people from the united states of america and worldwide. The child abuse library online was visited 36,412 times, including 21,761 unique visits by people from the united states of america and worldwide.

The 40th international symposium on child abuse (symposium) was a conference hosted at ncac march 18-21, 2024. The successful, informative, and innovative multidisciplinary conference featured more than 167 workshops, over 170 presenters, and trained 1,202 professionals from 49 states and 13 countries. The symposium has hosted and trained professionals in the field of child abuse, maltreatment, and prevention for 40 years and continues to be one of the leading child abuse conferences worldwide.
