Mission

To educate, represent and serve the members who are employers and employees who are involved in the demolition and recycling industry throughout the united states, canada and great britain.

Special projects - during the year, nda participated in several special projects including a membership campaign, government affairs, safety talks, disaster response, a textbook project, and the world of concrete event.

Educational programs - nda's educational programs include an estimating course, online training, job analysis and webinars.nda offers the "foundations of demolition management" training series. This series, which culminates in a certificate of demolition management, is composed of four courses:- foundations of demolition estimating- foundations of demolition project management- foundations of demolition job cost tracking- foundations of demolition risk managementall four courses are offered in person, giving individuals the opportunity to learn directly from leading demolition experts and to network with peers from across the field of demolition.

Publications - nda publishes demolition magazine six times a year. The magazine features job stories from members, association news, and industry advertisements.

Scholarships - nda manages a scholarship program which offers scholarships during the annual convention. Typically, approximately six recipients are recognized each year. Members may donate to the program through a dues check-off process or make donations directly to this program.
