Eczema Research We FundNEA celebrated 21 years of research investment by awarding nearly $1 million in 2024 to scientists studying eczema biology, inflammation, and psychosocial impact. Funded projects examined new therapeutic pathways, itch mechanisms, and barrier-repair science. Since its inception, NEA has awarded over $7 million to research advancing diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.Community & Global EngagementNEA expanded its leadership role through the Global Skin Alliance and international eczema collaborations in Prague and Melbourne, sharing research and policy solutions worldwide. NEA strengthened clinician partnerships through its Healthcare Provider Collaborative and expanded digital education for patients and caregivers. NEAs digital and social channels now reach hundreds of thousands annually, providing trusted information and connection across the eczema community.
