Publications to keep membership informed about association business, programs, and news in the sport. These included a monthly newspaper, a bi- monthly newsletter, and convention brochures.

The association gives athlete and team recognition to recognize and select all-american and all-region athletes; nfca scholar athletes and nfca top ten academic teams; player, pitcher and freshman of the year; and additional player awards such as diamond catcher, golden shoe, gold glove, and players of the week. The association also recognizes outstanding coaches with all-region and national coaches of the year, and recognizes coaching milestones, selects and inducts hall-of-fame coaches, and selects recipients for the donna newberry and humanitarian awards.
