National Gay Pilots Association

The association grants scholarships to eligible applicants. Applicants are required to submit an application which is reviewed by a nominated and vetted selection committee. The committeee uses a scoring process. Applicants must meet certain critera and must attend schools with accredited pilot and other credentialing training programs. Funds are paid directly to the education institution and any unused funds are returned to the association.

The ngpa supports advocacy related to its mission, advocacy may occur on a national, regional, local or campus level.
