Programs
2 programs
Policy and advocacy - nhrc's policy department advocates for policies to improve the health of people and communities impacted by substance use. Our advocacy seeks to create changes at the local, state, national, and international public health forums through a range of strategies that include direct advocacy with policy makers, policy analysis, education and coalition building.
Conferences - nhrc sponsors and organizes national, regional and local conferences. Nhrc conferences provide a critical and unique forum for the exploration and development of harm reduction practice, theory and policy and serve as crucial networking spaces for individuals and organizations working across different fields, including health, treatment, recovery, and housing, among others.
