California leadership fellowship - a one year executive leadership training program for 10 hispanic physicians who work in california who have documented leadership, interest in public health careers and commitment to serving hispanics. Nhhf lf consists of orientation, virtual summit over 8 sessions of 2 hours each, sacramento institute and washington, dc institute in september. Training includes didactic sessions, panel discussions with qanda on issues related to minority health care, health disparities, federal and state policies and programs that relate to access to care, workforce diversity, climate change, women's health and other issues. Faculty are speakers from policy offices, public health, white house, congress, think tanks, prevention programs, research, media.the physicians are appointed to policy analysis teams with a faculty coach and develop a policy paper for nhhf to use for advocacy in california/washington, dc.cdc pipeline to have a diverse public health workforce - 5 year cooperative agreement with cdc to develop a plan for recruitment and retention for hispanic, black and native americans in public health agencies at the local, state and federal levels. Rockefeller foundation vaccine education program - houston, chicago and oakland partners (congressmembers, chapters of national nursing, dental, nhma chapters and councils) were supported with mini grants and staff organized the logistics for the program. We successfully raised awareness through community health fairs, letters to congressmembers offices for their key community groups, mini grants for vaccine activities. Student conferences, and professional society chapters. A final report discussed the impact through local activities (mini grants) as well as rural and mental health programs.nhhf met with the white house on recommendations to reach vulnerable populations and key takeaways on outreach, education and implementation of vaccine supplying to minority populations.

Johnson & johnson health equity program- this program was for clinical trials research educational webinars from hispanic researchers and resources on the website.
