Mission
The national japanese american memorial foundation (njamf) (formerly known as the "go for broke" national veterans association foundation) was incorporated in the state of california on december 21, 1988. Njamf is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about the heroism and sacrifices made by 33,000+ nisei soldiers who courageously served during wwii while many of their family members (included in the over 125,000+ people of japanese ancestry) were being unjustly incarcerated by the u.s. Government.
