The mission and the goal of the national latino behavioral health association is to influence national behavioral health policy, eliminate disparities in funding and access to services, and improve quality of services for latino populations.

Scholarship program - provides scholarships to individuals pursuing a four year degree at a new mexico higher education institution in the area of mental/behavioral health.
Behavioral health interpreter training program - provides intensive training to bilingual individuals to improve their linguistic skills to interpret or who have an interest in becoming a trained interpreter in behavioral health settings. The program also provides training for monolingual english speaking mental health service providers on how to successfully work with a mental health interpreter in behavioral health settings.
