Professional educationnpf continued to expand and strengthen medical education programming targeting health care providers at all levels and stages of career. The 26th annual residents and rheumatology fellows meeting offered dermatology residents and rheumatology fellows the latest in psoriatic disease treatment presented by experts in the field. Through its dedication to educating health care providers on psoriatic disease and its related diseases, npf has earned accreditation as a provider of continuing medical education. It's part of our efforts to ensure all different types of health care providers understand this complicated disease. Npf offers the psound bytes continuing medical education podcasts, webinars, and in-person classes and seminars for a wide range of audiences. In fy 2025, the npf celebrated the indexing of the journal of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, a peer reviewed outlet featuring cme articles, allowing many more researchers, clinicians, and patients to access valuable information in each article.

Expenses: $1.3M

Advocacynpf further amplified its advocacy efforts. The organization continues to champion patient-friendly legislation, notably the safe step act, and has supported step therapy reforms and copay accumulator protections across 40 states. Npf regularly advocates on capitol hill for better care, access, and fair pricing. In fy 2025, npf proactively educated its community about significant medicare changes through articles, podcasts, and webinars, helping patients navigate new out-of-pocket maximums and prescription options.

Expenses: $1.2M

Education, outreach, and patient servicesnpf's public relations and education campaigns reached broad audiences, featuring dynamic content to reduce stigma and drive awareness. The #thisispsoriasis campaign utilized media tours and videos from community members to debunk myths and foster understanding. Npf also launched impactful campaigns for rare forms of the disease, such as generalized pustular psoriasis (gpp), educating patients and providers to save lives through timely diagnosis and intervention. Npf optimized its digital presence, making psoriasis.org a trusted resource for over 4 million annual visitors. Efforts included the launch of the resource library and the monthly psoriasis insider newsletter, significantly increasing access to reliable information for both patients and providers. Since 2016, npf's patient navigation center has supported over 90,000 patients and their caregivers with free, personalized support designed to help them understand psoriatic disease and treatment options, navigate insurance challenges, and find the appropriate health care provider.
