Mission
Our primary exempt purpose is the preservation of Classic Soul/R&B Music and to honor and promote the legendary artists from the 60s, 70s and 80s that paved the way for today's artists.
Programs
5 programs
We produced the July 26, 2025 Free Summer Concert at Gardner's basin. We booked 8 legendary recording artists with bands and 3 Local Bands to perform at this concert. We also used some of our public members as day of staff. About 2500 residents and surrounding areas attended this concert.
We held our 4th Atlantic City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 28, 2025. We inducted The Stylistics, Ray, Goodman and Brow, Blue Magic, Jean Carne and Phyllis Hyman with plaques embedded in the ground at Brighton Park in Atlantic City. A Red Carpet Luncheon Reception followed the induction ceremony. Over 250 people attended the ceremony.
On September 23, 2024 we held our annual Black Tie Gala and Awards Ceremony. We honored legendary Classic Soul artists Karyn White, Glenn Jones, Miki Howard, The Band Skyy and Leroy Hutson with Lifetime Achievement Awards. About 350 people attended.
On September 24, 2024 we held our third Atlantic City Walk of Fame and Induction Ceremony at Brighton park. We inducted the Soul and Pop group The Manhattans. A brunch at The Claridge Hotel was held prior to the unveiling of the plaque.
On August 10, 2025 we held our Annual Membership BBQ at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is a an event where our public members get a chance to hang out with our recording artists members. about 110 members attended.
