The national society of the colonial dames of america in the state of south carolina is dedicated to the furthering of knowledge and appreciation for colonial/national heritage. The organization provides annual contributions to historic properties (dumbarton, gunston hall, sulgrave manor) owned or supported by our national organization ($3,550) and to sc exempt organizations whose missions align with our society's mission ($1,300). We honor our program speakers with small contributions to exempt organizations connected to their topic (1,150). A special contribution was made this year to our national organization to sponsor the purchase/training of two puppies for america's vet dogs program (12,000).
