The national wildlife rehabilitators association (nwra) is dedicated to improving and promoting the profession of wildlife rehabilitation and its contributions to preserving natural ecosystems.

Programs

2 programs

Educational publications, courses, website, and training materialsnwra offered three race-approved, on-demand courses in 2024 to enhance the education of veterinary professionals on the care of injured wildlife. In addition, nwra's developing leadership course hosted two cohorts of up-and-coming leaders in the field of animal welfare. "publications" have engaged over 12,200 readers across 120 countries, with content downloaded more than 28,681 times.

Member benefits include discounts on nwra programs and publications, access to the community directory, member communications, access to the entire library of published wildlife rehabilitation journal volumes and recorded symposia sessions, free access to birds of the world, free webinars, and access to read the newest edition of standard for wildlife rehabilitation online.
