Training & technical assistancenylc expanded its global impact by delivering customized service-learning training and support to schools, afterschool programs, and nonprofit organizations. Through collaboration with the afterschool state networks, nylc directly influenced the lives of more than 150,000 young people across missouri, nebraska, and new mexico. Additionally, nylc provided tailored training & professional development to 3,017 educators and 890 youth through 186 activities, equipping them with the skills and tools to implement high-quality service-learning initiatives. See schedule o for additional program language.these efforts indirectly reached nearly 600,000 individuals, amplifying the ripple effect of youth leadership and community engagement. By focusing on the unique needs of each organization, nylc continues to foster meaningful change, ensuring service-learning remains a powerful force for education and community transformation.

Visibility, convening, & advocacythe 35th annual national service-learning conference brought together 468 youth and adult attendees from 32 states and four countries, offering over 100 dynamic learning opportunities that inspired action and strengthened communities. Additional convenings throughout the year brought together 412 youth and adult attendees from 14 states. Nylc amplified the voices of young leaders through the power of young people podcast, achieving 845 episode plays and sparking meaningful conversations throughout the year. See schedule o for additional program language.our online presence remained strong, with the nylc website garnering more than 327,000 impressions, the leader e-newsletter reaching an average of 3,559 readers monthly, and social media platforms generating over 186,000 impressions. Beyond events and media outreach, nylc played a pivotal role in advancing service-learning by participating in key coalitions, engaging state and community leaders, and driving forward policies and practices that empower youth to lead and serve.
