Mission
Through the spirit of respect and cooperation, the naav will strive to unify tribal service programs throughout oklahoma by providing culturally appropriate technical assistance, training and support to eliminate domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence to restore balance and safety for tribal communities.

The naav enhances the response to violence against indian women at the tribal, federal, and state levels. The naav accomplished this by offering and developing 8 regional trainings throughout oklahoma indian country on topics such as historical trauma, dv 101 and dv and the workplace. In addition, the naav held an annual summit and collaborated with various partners to create the partners for change conference on domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking, and participated in various community outreach events throughout oklahoma. The naav provides technical assistance to coalition membership and tribal communities to enhance access to services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Annually the naav delivers over 75 technical assistance requests received from tribal governments, state agencies, tribal and non-tribal law enforcement, tribal courts and tribal coalitions.
