The corporation is formed for purposes of achieving members' common business interest: in developing and promoting a specification to facilitate wide deployment of high-speed in-vehicle networking technologies and products ("nav alliance specification"); and to developing and administering a certification process for products implementing any nav alliance specification to ensure interoperability between products and manufacturers.
