Funds from this grant have enabled nehemiah's flourishing neighborhoods initiative to implement a mental health and the church project that aligns resources of the faith community and other local partners to support systems change, remove barriers to health, and enable flourishing for residents in the ohiz area. In addition, the grant has supported a partnership between nehemiah, mercy health and the clark county combined health department to expand the faith community health nursing/health ministry program that equips and supports nurses and health field volunteers to serve local congregations and neighborhoods in high poverty areas in our community.
