Neighbor 2 Neighbor operates the Pendleton Warming Station which provides shelter to the homeless during the winter when potential for hypothermia is elevated, either by direct temporary sheltering or by motel vouchers; provides occasional free evening meals to homeless individuals seeking services at the Veda's Cafe operation and operates the Pendleton Day Center which provides a variety of services to homeless individuals, including laundry vouchers, clothing and showers.

Operation of the Pendleton Day Center: The Day Center provides homeless individuals shelter from the elements during selected hours of the day when temperatures are abnormally hot or extremely cold. The Day Center is also open Mondays in the afternoon for showers, mail services, snacks, clothing and other services to homeless individuals. The day Center can provide short term lodging for homeless individuals with special needs such as illness or when accompanied by small children. For the reporting period, the Day Center was open 36 days, assisted 93 different individuals with an average daily count of 9.9.
Veda's Café is the name given to Neighbor 2 Neighbor food service program. Veda's Café usually only operates when the Warming Station is open. Volunteer cooks prepare and serve an evening meal for those staying at the station. In addition, snacks and beverages such as coffee, juice and water are provided at both the Warming Station and the Day Center.
