The Neighborhood is working to build a new model of a community and cultural center in Brooklyn, New York. We will be a gathering place for local Jewish groups and organizations that dont have their own space.

Asylum Arts This program area supports Jewish and Israeli culture world-wide, creating more cultural activity internationally and bringing the best to Brooklyn and the United States. Asylum Arts supported 24 artists in 2024 with grants of $204,389, which included support for new creative projects in dance, theater, visual arts, music, and literature and an artist residency. We also featured international artists in programs in Brooklyn, raising their profile and bringing their unique perspective to local audiences.
