Mission
Neighborhood Collaborative Community Gardens NCCG transforms vacant lots in Camden into community gardens rain gardens and outdoor learning spaces. Through youth workforce development environmental justice education and community resilience initiatives NCCG builds green spaces and healthier neighborhoods.
Programs

NCCG provided paid and volunteer youth workforce-development programs focused on STEM leadership and environmental justice. High-school and college interns received training in gardening composting stormwater management and civic engagement. Youth collaborated with local officials and educators on service projects that build leadership and career pathways.
NCCG expanded community composting and circular-economy education to reduce landfill waste and improve soil health. More than 10,000 pounds of food scraps were diverted and converted into compost for local gardens. NCCG also offered environmental-justice and climate-health workshops with local educators and wellness advocates to strengthen community resilience.
