Mission

Utilize volunteers and community partners to provide critical home repairs so those we serve may age in place safely. Free home repairs for low-income elderly and disabled persons.

Programs

2 programs

Home stabilization program (repairs greater than $4,000 in a single household) - 89 repairs for 19 homes - this program focuses on a small subset of the homes requesting services to more intensely stabilize them, not just for the homeowner who currently lives there but for the purpose of assuring this asset is left to their family for future generations and does not become a costly burden to bear.

Expenses: $355K

Workforce development - 240 trainees gained hands on work experience providing home repairs - this program consists of two workforce development programs. One is the by plus program where home repairs provides the on-site work experience to trainees learning construction skills and earning their industry recognized certifications. The second is the growth program. This program's objective is to provide avenues of specialty to individuals that may not otherwise have the opportunity to gain those specialties, certifications or know to pursue them.
