Feeding our neighbors and hurricane preparedness - as the cost of living rises, families struggle even harder to make ends meet. Neighbors 4 neighbors is working to ease that burden and help provide families with the essentials they need, but cannot afford. In 2024 we took that even further and teamed up with our partners at farm share to host the very first hurricane preparedness distribution. In 2024, we served over 2000 families, providing them with water, canned goods, flashlights, batteries and many other hurricane supply essentials just in time for the beginning of hurricane season. Additionally we teamed up again with local food banks, bolstering their efforts, with in-kind goods, curated by our team, helping families struggling with food insecurity even more and helping our non-profit partners thrive. The value of these goods reached $394,320 in 2024!

Adopt a family for the holidays - for over 32 years, neighbors 4 neighbors' adopt a family 4 the holidays program has been spreading joy by connecting families in need with generous donors who provide gifts for the whole family. In 2024, we teamed up with over 40 non-profit organizations and nearly a dozen other organizations to help families facing hardships during the holiday season. This past year, 643 families (over 2,700 individuals) were adopted, totaling over $385,800 to holiday support for families in need! What sets this program apart is the opportunity for families and donors to meet, fostering a deeper sense of connection and community.
