Maintain and oversee the region's Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) homeless services and reporting database in a fair, transparent, and time sensitive method in accordance with HUD HMIS Data Standards, regulations, etc. This system lets service providers know that no one has fallen through the cracks and that providers able to account for the successful and appropriate use of grant funds to serve vulnerable households. In 2023 the system served the 7000 sq mi service area and supported nearly 50 system users with training, monitoring, and technical assistance. Indicative of the HMIS success, the region's error rate in 2023 is less than 2%. The system is able to produce all required reports of participating federal agencies including HUD, VA, DHH, and many others.

Maintain and oversee the region's coordinated entry system tracking and completing referrals of persons seeking homeless assistance in a fair, transparent, and time sensitive program model that lets no one fall through the cracks and serves people in order of vulnerability and need. In 2024 the system screened over 1,750 households and referred them to appropriate programs and resources to end their homelessness; indicative of the success of these referrals, the region reports fewer than 1% of households served return to homelessness, far above the national benchmark of 5% for top performance. This indicates the appropriateness of referrals of matching needs to services.
