The neodesha promise scholarship is available to usd 461 graduates meeting the following requirements: - cumulative gpa of 2.5 or higher - act of 21 or higher (bachelor's degree award only) - completed required number of community service hours for the graduating class. - fafsa completion - student must be in good standing students must submit a promise application by march 1st of their graduating year. Scholarship applications are then reviewed by a three member neodesha promise scholarship committee which determines individual awards. Students will be notified of their scholarship award by mail and email. There are no restrictions based upon race or employment of a prospective recipient. Students must submit their billing statement and schedule to the neodesha promise administrator prior to receiving their scholarship each semester. Scholarship checks will pay up to tuition and mandatory fees at the highest in state public institutions. Students receiving the bachelor's award will receive up to 409 per credit hour. Students receiving the associates/technical award will receive up to 200 per credit hour. Promise scholarship checks will be sent directly to their post secondary institution. To maintain the neodesha promise scholarship students are required to maintain a 2.5 gpa or higher at their institution of choice. Students falling beneath the 2.5 gpa for two semesters of their education will lose their scholarship. Students are required to submit their grades for the previous semester prior to receiving their scholarship award for the next semester.
