To provide a leadership forum for Houston's behavioral health providers.
Programs
4 programs
The Pathways Community HUB program contracts with community care agencies to provide care coordination to low-income individuals with mental illness or substance use. The program focuses on support and care to address the nonmedical drivers of health in Houston's maternal population.
The Network of Behavioral Health Providers' (NBHP) Education Program provides monthly continuing education training and other presentations to behavioral health professionals and support staff and coordinates the work of the membership programs.
The Behavioral Health Workforce Recruitment, Education, and Development Initiative (WREDI) aims to create a pipeline of culturally and linguistically responsive behavioral health professionals to serve in Greater Houston by providing educational and experiential learning opportunities and scholarships.
NBHP's Advocacy Program educates policymakers and other behavioral health stakeholders about the behavioral health needs in Greater Houston and analyzes and promotes policies to address those needs.
