Public Education and Community Engagement:NCPM advances public understanding about the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicines through educational outreach and community engagement efforts aimed at shifting public perception, informing policy, and empowering stakeholders. In 2024, we hosted virtual summits and webinars addressing emerging clinical research and state and federal policy developments, published regular newsletters, and distributed educational content on safe, equitable access to psychedelic therapies. These initiatives aimed to inform both the public and policymakers, supporting cultural change and legislative momentum.(Continued on Schedule O)Accomplishments may include:- Produced and distributed digital newsletters highlighting local and national psychedelic policy developments.- Hosted online educational events, including webinars and virtual summits, to inform the public about access models, research, and regulation.- Maintained active engagement across digital platforms, reaching approximately 2,300 followers across email and combined social platforms.- Provided informational resources to policymakers and the public in support of safe, regulated psychedelic-assisted therapies.
