To care for pets, find them homes and save lives.

The society's clinic provides spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations and care for all dogs and cats that pass through our shelter. Additionally, low-cost spay and neuter services and vaccination services are provided to the public.

Expenses: $2.4M

Public service includes: 1) trap-neuter-return program (tnr) which allows feral cats to be spayed and neutered and provided with vaccinations. 2)functions related to animal services in carson city, nevada including: dog licensing, bite investigations, reporting lost and found animals and enforcement of state and local animal regulations, except wildlife. 3)pet pantry which distributed 199,080 pounds of pet food to 15,072 families in 2024.
