The organization is committed to the mission of the hospitaller order of st john of god, a roman catholic religious order, non-profit 501(c)(3) both are included in the official catholic directory. The corporation operates exclusively as a religious corporation performing charitable works in providing humanitarian services for the poor and homeless, including, but not limited to, the acquisition, development and leasing of a facility in a designated low-income community to camillus house, inc, a related 501(c)(3) organization providing food, shelter and other humanitarian services to the homeless and indigent it strives to provide christian hospitality and respect for life through direct services of food, clothing, shelter, addiction counseling, and health care to the persons who are poor and homeless in south florida.
