New City Counseling Center

Training: We conducted weekly staff development sessions with our counselors, including 3 sessions on group counseling training. We also held four intensive staff training sessions on our counseling model. We hosted four "Pastors' Breakfasts" where we made space for pastors to come together, facilitating training on emotional health, boundary setting, and developing friendship as a leader. We also conducted three trainings in churches on topics such as loneliness and trauma. All of these training sessions were conducted free of charge.

Community Education: We conducted four seminars in 2024: one at a local church, one at a university parachurch organization, and two with nonprofits in the community. Three of the seminars address trauma awareness and healing; the fourth one was on forming deeper connection. All of the seminars were done free of charge.
