Adult Achievement Centers - Include a Day Program in Paramus and Rochelle Park. In the Late 1990s, New Concepts for Living (NCFL) opened its first Achievement Center with the goal of providing day program services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Today, our locations in Paramus and Rochelle Park provide an unmatched activities calendar, unsurpassed, well-rounded skills training areas, including mock bedroom, full-service laundry, kitchen and computer lab. Our Paramus facility even has a supermarket. Our 81,500 Sq Ft facility in Paramus also offers Occupational, Physical and Speech therapies and on-site behavioral and nursing services are provided. Day Program participants of all abilities have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities such as volleyball, basketball, bowling, exercise classes, yoga and meditation, dance classes, math and reading skills, and more. Other activities, including karaoke, arts & crafts, board and video games, and team-building exercises are also included to help stimulate the mind, increase social and motor skills, and develop imagination. In addition to these activities, our day program incorporates a variety of field trips for our participants. In the past, we've taken trips to the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Spirit of NJ Cruise, Point Pleasant Boardwalk, NY Mets games, and more.
