New directions is committed to social change that eliminates violence in all relationships and promotes safe, equal, just, respectful, healthy and loving relationships.

Education: new directions offers prevention education in a variety of contexts that promote healthy relationships and focus on the prevention of intimate partner violence and sexual violence. This work is done in local schools, businesses, and organizations. Delta impact is focused on prevention programming that includes the teen advisory council and works primarily with high school students and community businesses. Additionally, there is a prevention advisory council that focuses on prevention programming in schools and in the business community.
Other program services: new directions operates a 24 hour hotline to respond to crisis calls from victims of domestic violence, intimate partner violence and sexual violence. Staff provide crisis intervention, court accompaniment and assistance with civil protection orders, hospital accompaniment, youth advocacy, and support groups at local colleges, as well as within the agency.
