The Museums are housed in a 1901 factory building, the former site of the Bristol Manufacturing Company. We still use the original radiant steam heating system, although it has been converted to run off of natural gas. This week while completing a separate project in the dirt crawlspace that is our basement, The Shaffer Company noticed our condensate pump was sitting in a pool of water, leaking, and not running. For many reasons this is terribly bad and needs to be repaired quickly so that we do not further damage the entire system. We deeply appreciate your support for this emergency repair.
