The Mission of the New England Independent Booksellers Association is to further the success of professional independent booksellers in New England and to foster a vital and supportive bookselling community.

Educational seminars - programs to help booksellers, members, and non-members, generate more interest and knowledge in the trade and the products/books they sell. Informal gatherings were convened by the association where members in various geographic areas in New England discuss business topics of general interest, share ideas and work on resolving common problems and issues.

Annual catalogue - a promotional catalogue program to help foster interest in reading and the sale of books. Copies were circulated to bookstores and readers around New England.
