Newiee memberships provide access to a member directory, the ability for organizational members to post open positions on newiee's job board, discounts on tickets to newiee's signature events, ability to participate in meetings and roundtables that shape the course of newiee, and provide recognition to organizational members through website, newsletter and on social media.
Fall fete - the fall fete is a networking reception that is open to the general public and affords an opportunity for prospective new members to meet newiee's board and advisory board in a casual networking environment. This event was held in boston on november 7th and had 143attendees. The fall fete is preceded by an annual members meeting, which is only open to members, as the organization reviews the prior year and looks to members for input on planning for the coming year and input on how best to serve its members.
Women shaping the agenda - ten years ago newiee created our third signature event of the year bringing together an esteemed group of women in the industry to discuss, debate and provide diverse perspectives on issues shaping the future of the energy and environment. The 2024 event was held in worcester, ma at the college of the holy cross with 139 attendees. This year's event focused on the topic of breaking barriers and building resilience: the importance of diverse perspectives in achieving climate goals. We are pleased to have brought together an impressive panel of women leaders representing both the environmental and energy professions in the government, business and nonprofit sectors.
