Mission
Enables both small rural and large urban communities to manage their own recycling programs. Nh recycles is one of only a handful of nonprofits in the country that operates a recyclables marketing cooperative, which means that we directly connect sellers of recyclable commodities to purchasers of those commodities. Nh recycles has a deep expertise in the recycling markets, and in partnership with our members, we share that information through education and technical assistance, as well as networking opportunities.
Programs
1 program
Educational programs to train and educate recycling coordinators, facility attendants, and volunteers. It offers an annual recycling education conference and also provides education through a variety of interactive training sessions/workshops, as well as assistance in setting up and facilitating cost-effective recycling programs. The association also distributes a regular educational newsletter to members.
