End Human Trafficking through education, awareness and advocacy

Programs

Various outreach programs including NJ Education Association, NJ Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NJAHPERD), NJ League for Nurses, NJ Emergency Nurses Association, NJ School Counselors, NJ Bankers Association, Rotary Clubs, NJ Women in Law Enforcement, NJ Bar, Rutgers, American Assn of University Women, ACAMS, Philippine Nurses Assn, Alice Paul Center for Justice, NJ Reentry Corp, NJ Courts and various other organizations. Also includes our Speakers Bureau volunteer speakers that give talks about human trafficking at schools, companies, community centers and other organizations. Held approximately 120 events in the 2024-2025 year reaching over 4000 people

SOAP Outreach (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution). A volunteer outreach across Atlantic County with 60 volunteers doing outreach to more than 60 hotels and motels to educate about human trafficking and create awareness of missing children.

Internships for college students to provide awareness and education about human trafficking. The interns do a presentation on their learnings and it is viewed via Zoom. Reaches approximately 75+ people. Grants to schools with 6 grants provided to educate K-12 students and Scholarships for advanced education for 2 people.

HT Badge Buddy program for Healthcare and related professional workers. 8,000 badges for healthcare workers to attach to their badges to provide them with quick access to the red flags to help them recognize signs of human trafficking along with the Human Trafficking hotline number. Approximately 2,000 were distributed in this fiscal year.

Various other program costs including education meetings for members, webinars for teachers and others, World Cup ACT meetings to plan for the 2026 FIFA World Cup events, Survivor consulting on programs and survivor inclusion consistent with our strategic plan and other program costs to deliver programs related to education and advocacy

Survivor Assistance program that provides emergency assistance to survivors such as rent, insurance, medical, utilities.
